Produced by legendary trumpeter Donald Byrd, Unfinished Business, originally released in 1976, features the core group of keyboardist Kevin Toney, guitarist Orville Saunders, bassist Joe Hall and drummer Keith Kiligo, with saxophonist and flautist Wesley Jackson. A toe-tapping synthesis of all that was happening in Black music in 1970s electronic jazz, funk and hard swinging R&B, Unfinished Business serves up more of the irresistible formula that the band struck gold with on their previous album, City Life.
