Alice In Chains
Alice in Chains is an American rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1987 by Jerry Cantrell (guitar/vocals), Sean Kinney (drums), Layne Staley (vocals), and Mike Starr (bass). The band’s current lineup is comprised of Jerry Cantrell, Sean Kinney, William Duvall (vocals/guitar), and Mike Inez (bass). Since their formation, Alice in Chains has released six studio albums. Their debut album, Facelift, featuring the hit single‚ “Man In The Box”, was released in 1990 and has been certified triple-platinum by the RIAA, selling over three million copies. In 1992, the band’s second album, Dirt, was released to critical acclaim and was certified 5x-platinum. Alice in Chains has sold over 40 million records worldwide, and over 19 million records in the US alone. The band has had 18 Top 10 songs on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, 5 No. 1 hits, and received 11 Grammy Award nominations.
