As Raffi marks 50 years in children’s music, the beloved singer, songwriter, author, and advocate is adding a new chapter with Love Is Everywhere. Arriving October 23 via Craft Recordings, Raffi’s 21st studio album features 13 songs built around love, imagination, learning, and connection.
Available on CD and in standard and hi-res digital formats, Love Is Everywhere reunites Raffi with JUNO® Award-winning trio Good Lovelies, who previously joined him on 2024’s Penny Penguin. Their harmonies appear across six of the album’s tracks, including the title song, “Wakey Wakey,” and “To the Moon and Back.”
The first single, “No One Like You,” is available to stream today.

50 YEARS OF SINGABLE SONGS
Raffi’s latest album arrives at a fitting moment. In 1976, he released his bestselling debut, Singable Songs for the Very Young, beginning a career that would introduce generations of families to songs like “Baby Beluga” and “Bananaphone.”
Love Is Everywhere makes a direct connection back to that beginning. Raffi has included the original 1976 recording of “I Wonder If I’m Growing,” while a new picture book inspired by the song and illustrated by Jon Klassen arrives October 24.
Five decades on, Raffi’s approach remains rooted in songs young listeners can participate in, whether they’re singing, moving, learning something new, or simply having fun.
RAFFI + GOOD LOVELIES
Produced by Raffi and recorded by longtime collaborator Ken Burke, Love Is Everywhere expands that familiar singalong approach with a colorful acoustic palette that includes violin, cello, clarinet, piano, ukulele, and Raffi’s own guitar.
Good Lovelies’ Caroline Brooks, Kerri Ough, and Sue Passmore bring another dimension to the record with the vibrant harmonies that have become their signature.
The Toronto trio first recorded with Raffi on the JUNO-winning Penny Penguin, and their return gives Love Is Everywhere a particularly warm ensemble sound. Raffi affectionately calls them his “beluga grads,” noting that their voices “enliven my new songs beautifully.”
SOMETHING TO SING ABOUT
The album’s 13 songs leave plenty of room for curiosity.
“No One Like You” celebrates the things that make each person unique, while “Wakey Wakey” turns getting up in the morning, or after a good nap, into an excuse to move. “To the Moon and Back” looks outward, encouraging wonder about Earth and the universe.
Elsewhere, “ABC Democracy,” first released in 2025, introduces civic engagement in Raffi’s characteristically accessible way, while songs like “One Sock Two” and “Rainy Day Fun” find inspiration much closer to home.
LISTENING NOTES
“No One Like You”
A very Raffi idea at its core: being yourself is something worth singing about. A sweet first taste of the new album with an easy message for little listeners to take with them.
“Wakey Wakey” featuring Good Lovelies
For mornings when “good morning” isn’t quite energetic enough. Good Lovelies join in on a song designed to get sleepy kids moving.
“One Sock Two”
Proof that you don’t need to travel very far to find material for a song. Even the everyday mystery of socks can become an adventure in Raffi’s hands.
“I Wonder If I’m Growing”
A time capsule from 1976 tucked inside a brand-new album. Hearing the original recording here makes a lovely bridge between Raffi’s first generation of listeners and the latest one.
“To the Moon and Back” featuring Good Lovelies
End with something bigger. Raffi turns his attention toward the Earth and universe, giving curious kids another reason to look up.
STILL GROWING
There’s something especially fitting about Raffi revisiting “I Wonder If I’m Growing” while celebrating 50 years since Singable Songs for the Very Young. His audience has certainly grown up, with generations of “Baby Beluga grads” now sharing the music with children of their own.
Love Is Everywhere keeps that circle moving, pairing a song from where Raffi started with a collection created for the kids listening today.
