WILLY & THE POOR BOYS (REMASTER) CD
Willy and the Poor Boys was released in November 1969 to wide critical acclaim and commercial success. The LP includes one of the most enduring protest songs, “Fortunate Son,” as well as quintessential CCR tracks like “Down on the Corner” and “Midnight Special.” The album peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and was also included in Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Albums of All Time." This expanded edition features three bonus tracks: a 1970 jam of “Down on the Corner” with Booker T. Jones at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, CA, plus two 1971 performances—“Fortunate Son” live in Manchester and “It Came Out of the Sky” live in Berlin.
