Singer-songwriter Ralfi Pagan’s 1969 debut self-titled album on Fania Records is a Latin soul classic. It swings freely from R&B to salsa, with tenor-flavored grooves like “Who Is the Girl for Me” and “Don’t Stop Now” and Spanish ballads like “No Soy De Ti” and “El Hijo de Mamá.” Ralfi’s songs are R&B with Nuyorican flavor, making him known for his funky Latin soul vibe. This reissue features (AAA) lacquers cut from the original masters, 180-gram vinyl and a classic tip-on jacket.
